Georgia Chosts Softball is a fastpitch softball organization committed to teaching young ladies of all ages the game of softball while at the same time encouraging to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.  John Durden, the founder of the organization, has been coaching boys/girls and men's/women's baseball and softball since he was 19 years old.  He is committed to teaching the athletes on his teams the fundamentals of this wonderful game, but more importantly he is focused on ensuring they have a foundation based on Jesus Christ and the ultimate sacrifice He made for all of us.  John is committed to leading and doing things the right way. 

Since the inception of the program in 2022, Georgia Ghosts Softball has had the pleasure of coaching just one senior.  The efforts and commitment Coach Durden has for all of his players, enabled for this young lady to receive a full scholarship June of 2024.  The goal of this program is to provide these young ladies a pathway to college and help them achieve their dreams of playing at the next level.  Through focus, great sportsmanship, hardwork, and being a committed team player, Coach Durden believes this organization has the right people in place to help every athlete achieve their maximum potential and hopefully their dreams.  

The motto of this organizaion is "Trust the Process".  Much like the verse in 1 Corinthians 9:24- we are running a race and running in a way that we may win!  Thank you and God Bless.
